At first I felt that the multi-modal webtext was going to be way to much to handle so I kind of procrastinated but once I got into it and finished writing and then recording the slideshow podcast it seemed more manageable. The actual written portion of the web page was pretty easy up to a thousand words then I struggled to get through the last four hundred words so i was really happy to have finished that. The designing of the actual page was my favorite part of the whole project and i really enjoyed it and I am very happy with the page. I think if i had had more time with this assignment I would have put most of it into the page design. I would have liked to make it a little more elaborate and flashy. Although I did not do all the things i wanted to with my page I am still very proud of the outcome. I wrote about exercise because working out and being healthy is a big part of my life and I love it and I wanted to try to get others interested in their well being. My target audience was pretty much people of all ages and types. Most of my research was done on the web and a lot of it was from personal experience from working out and watching others and just picking things up here and there. I think that many people would be interested in reading my page because it involves the health and quality of life. Everyone wants to feel and look better and by doing some of the things that I wrote about it can help you improve yourself. With all the bad things out there tempting us like fast food and drugs we need to always be conscious of how those things can effect us.

Podcast
I thought that the podcast was a pretty interesting assignment since i have never created or even really thought about creating one. It was a fresh and new way to write a paper and I thought it was nice to do something new. I chose to do my podcast on obesity cause i see it as a large problem in America at the moment and it only seems to be getting worse. Everyone knows most of the consequences of being obeses but we keep eating fast food at an alarming rate. Im not saying that i never eat fast food by any means though. I believe that anything in moderation is okay but most people including people in my family over do it by eating fast food three to five times a week. This is especially scrary for young people who are still growing and developing. Without proper nutrition they could have problems in development. I would have probably added alot more information if i had had time to research more into the topic. There are endless resources for health topics and especially those related to weight.
